Popping to the shops - with a requisite basket, one of a dubiously large collection. White jeans again - but this time, flares from 7 for all mankind, a Ghost shirt, some two-tone Ray-Bans and vintage silver leather shoes from the '60s, giving me a spring in my step!

Busy but interesting

Busy but interesting. What started out as a rainy day turned into ideal weather for a peasant embroidered dress from Battersea bootfair, complete with some espadrilles, an Indian basket from Gabriel's Wharf and lots of accessories including a red cuff, also from Battersea, a white chunky ring from Mrs Robinson and an assortment of beads.

Horniman Gardens

Hoss at the Horniman. Here in a heavenly Hoss Homeless two-piece at the gardens overlooking the Horniman Museum. The heavy metals are bronze wedges from the south London emporium (The Dulwich Trader) and an Angel Jackson plaited leather bag (which is wearing wonderfully well). The jewellery is a pearly selection and the sunglasses, from Topshop, bring out the lovely pastel greens in this look from the Spanish label.

It's official! The blossoms are out... or rather in. Here amongst the buds, I'm in a seasonal Ted Baker jacket, some vintage sunglasses from Whitby, North Yorkshire, InWear trousers and a pair of functional cowboy boots from Abbey, Clapham. 
A tad overdressed for this glorious, warm weather.

Pleats, please

This is not a tale from the Wienerwald, this is a stroll, at the pace of Strauss, around my local park, in a heavy linen peasant smock from the Austrian capital. Viennese pleats at their best, nicht wahr? Here with a pair of Loden green boots and a sailor's canvas bag from Cornwall.

Welly weather. That covers most of the year - in England. These are my favourites by Hunter (space-age silver), a grey shaggy vintage coat to keep out the spring chill, some white skinny jeans and a basket from my endless collection.

Post-piloxing

Feeling good after... my first session of Piloxing (pilates and boxing). Punishingly good! My arms will look fab this summer. The stripes mean... go faster, work harder.

Double leather

It was a sad goodbye to Allders' flagship store in Croydon last year. From this longstanding retail institution, once the UK's third-largest department store dating back to 1862, I bagged these red leather trousers, topped off with more leather by Jasper Conran.
