Brockley's burgeoning street art always seems to provide the best backdrop for the great range of clothes, in stock at Paraphernalia, the local designer and vintage boutique that has been a mainstay for south Londoners for almost two decades! Back in the summer - yes, that was June - the local community turned up the volume and put out the bunting for a summer Croftfest and of course, Paraphernalia and ourselves, took fashion out into Crofton Park.
Check out the eye-catching Catherine Delaney hat - perfect for striking a pose - outside the Brockley Road store, as well as the pretty white poplin, multi-tie dress by Joseph, worn by my girl. So perfect that she bought it!

Friday night preview at a most beautiful West End space, the Royal Academy's Burlington Gardens, to see Dennis Hopper: The Lost Album. Exhibited previously only once (Texas in 1970), this display of over 400 original silver gelatin prints has a quiet nostalgia of a particular time (1961-1967) when the young, under-contract Hollywood actor simply decided to pick up a camera, after which he went on to co-write and direct Easy Rider. Thankfully, these diverse and story-telling images remain - to be seen and appreciated - of this artist's life as a young American. Easy dressing in an equally retro silk handkerchief dress, Topshop wedges, a '60s fringed bag, and Chanel sunglasses.
Once again, Dulwich is landing a cultural punch in the capital, with the launch of the 21st Dulwich Festival. More than 200 artists are now part of Artists' Open House and this weekend (17th-18th) marks the second and final weekend for this showcase. The annual festival started on May 9th and its programme of events has included music, talks, walks, workshops and debates as well as the addition of a Food Trail. As for the backdrop, located off Lordship Lane and Goose Green, these bare-knuckle fighters sprang up last year.

Yesterday was a roller-coaster Good Friday, beginning in
Bermondsey, at the Fashion and Textile Museum for the Artist Textiles: Picasso to Warhol exhibition. After a burst of mid-century prints, time for a snack,
and where else better to go than Borough Market. To finish the day with a view
of The Shard, I called in on Tate Modern, for the magnificent Matisse show: The Cut-Outs. I opted for a statement Karl Donoghue gilet, a new Chloé knit, black
InWear trousers, some old biker boots from Harrods, a pair of Chanel sunnies,
and a vintage Louis Vuitton bag. All in all, a very Good Friday!
A stroll along Bermondsey Street yesterday in the sunshine... and could not resist calling by the charming Cave London which sells flowers, wine and chocolate... spoilt for choice on Mother's Day! At the moment it is also showing colourful new paintings by Tom Leamon. I was in simple monochrome: black InWear skinnies, biker boots from Harrods, white T-shirt, some Chanel sunnies and a charcoal cardi from Nicole Farhi.
