Khaki is King

In the dictionary of colour, khaki is king... for me! A neat little khaki dress, from US retail label: Ann Taylor Loft. The origins of the brand go back to 1954 when founder, Richard Liebeskind, opened his first store in New Haven, Connecticut.  'Ann Taylor' was the name of a best-selling dress at the founder's father's store. Both the best-selling dress and the name were given by the father to his son, Richard. Today Ann Taylor is a chain of clothing stores for women, based in New York City. Loft, originally Ann Taylor Loft, was established in 1996 as an extension of the original Ann Taylor brand, which offers more relaxed fashions for work and home. Tonight, for a light dinner in Dulwich Village, I've accessoried it with chunky beads, a leather cuff, high-street heels and a small gold leather bag from The Dulwich Trader, which now has an online store: Rigby&Mac.
