That was Croftmas: a celebration of local businesses in Brockley, south London, including the show-stopping wares of Paraphernalia. We wore a fabulous range of clothes from a sophisticated pairing of a '40s mole cape with a contemporary pair of Chloé pants, with beaded embellishment; to '80s razzle-dazzle 'em jackets and a V-backed dress with jewel detail; and high-street finds, such as blazers from a Karen Millen brocade to a Topshop beaded number. Also in store is the recent 'Freestyle' range, together with local designers such as Mrs.Blak with her sartorial catchphrase 'Blak is always the new black', and Lira Leirner, where traditional materials are transformed into funky one-off pieces - check out those tweeds and tartans!

Good Friday
Yesterday was a roller-coaster Good Friday, beginning in
Bermondsey, at the Fashion and Textile Museum for the Artist Textiles: Picasso to Warhol exhibition. After a burst of mid-century prints, time for a snack,
and where else better to go than Borough Market. To finish the day with a view
of The Shard, I called in on Tate Modern, for the magnificent Matisse show: The Cut-Outs. I opted for a statement Karl Donoghue gilet, a new Chloé knit, black
InWear trousers, some old biker boots from Harrods, a pair of Chanel sunnies,
and a vintage Louis Vuitton bag. All in all, a very Good Friday!

The Decorative Fair
The Decorative Fair opened its doors yesterday to a six-day autumn event, with more than 140 exhibitors in Battersea Park, showcasing fabulous finds from Fornasetti to a '70s Saint Laurent suit! I'm wearing a pair of silk-mix cream Chloé trousers with a pretty embroidered motif and a snugly-fitted Tommy Hilfiger jacket. The '70s bag is from Vien in Crystal Palace and the animal-print clogs are surprisingly by Scholl. And if the chair suits, sit in it! This one is a beautifully-deconstructed Georgian example and is, of course, for sale at Stand 12.
